Hello to all,
Sorry that I have not done much updating. I have had surgery on my left knee, so have not been doing too much.
I did two sets of wrist warmers to which I will post a picture later.
Some other things that I am working on are making a few squares for Keep America Warm through Pat Catan's and then I want to start making Comfort Dolls for this agency:

When I get one or a few done I will get those pics posted also.
Until then, have a safe and wonderfully blessed day.

Wonderful article
I read an article by a fellow loomer and it was so interesting because it shared my thoughts on how some people can loom so fast and produce so much stuff like they are a machine and then there is me, I can' only do a few projects at a time at my pace.
Here is the link to her site and it is worth reading.

What I am working on now
I know that I have not been on for a few days to update because I have been working on a few differant things.
Dog leash, from a looming class that I am taking online.
Easter Basket for the grand baby
Harry Potter scarf, almost done
and the dog sweater, half way done.
So now to the funny part, I was making the dog leash and I am using really think cord because I have large dogs. Everything was going fine after experimenting with different pegs and such and I was bringing up the one part to attach the hook and I bent my hook! I totally destroyed it. Thanks goodness I had another one on hand. I will take a pic and put it on here on another day.
Thanks for hanging in there.

Pot Holders
I had some yarn that was given to me and one skein that was really heavy cotton. I didn't know what to do with it because it was cut in some places, so I kept thinking that there has got to be a use for this yarn. Well, I found one...potholders. It is nice and heavy, so they would make nice thick pot holders. I made them on the blue loom in the round and sewn them together at the bottoms and tops.

Scarves
I made a few scarves, but didn't get pics made of them. So here are the two I have pics of.
This scarf was made for my one son's girlfriend. I made a hat to go with it also. She loved the tassels that I added to this and the pom pom I made for the hat.
I had some yarn that I found at the local Big Lots and it of course was discontinued. It is Pattons Carmen Chocolate. After having many kind and wonderful people offer to look at their local Big Lots, I gave up. Then the other day I was looking through a few bags of yarn that I have to put away, and found one more skein. Too late, I had already made this scarf.
It took almost two skeins. Now for the tassels I found some Pattons Carmen Carmel at Big Lots and bought five skeins of it. I am going to also do a scarf in the carmel and then make tassels with the Chocolate. These scarves feel like heaven and are SO soft to the touch.
Again, drop me a comment if you like them.

Pictures of the stocking that I have made.

This is Maggie's Stocking, my step-grand baby, I am not old enough to be a Grandma yet, really.

Naveah's Stocking. My little neice, who bless her heart, is in Heaven after only two tiny months.
My newphew, Raymond, is a HUGE Steeler fan. I just had to make him a stocking with his favorite colors. I hope he loves it for years to come. This was the very first stocking that I ever made.

This is Damion's stocking. His favorite color is red.

This is Angel's stocking. His favorite color is brown.
I have many more that I made, actually 8 all together. Please comment if you like what you see.

New to this
Ok, so I am blogging outside of Myspace. I have a set of knitting looms and I love them. I love the creations that I can make with them also.
I have started a local group that will be getting together to learn from each other about loom knitting. I have made SO many things so far. I have made: scarves, hats, premmie hats, Christmas stockings, slipper socks.
It is a really easy thing to catch onto. I can't needle knit or crochet, so this was a surprise to me that I was able to do this.
I have some medical issues, so I can't work and I am SO bored. In time I would like to get enough things made to be able to sell them, maybe over the summer I will get things done for next Christmas, we will see.
Well, Welcome to my blog and at some point in time I will learn to put up pitures of all of my work I have done.
